Tear off the film and label on the outside of the filter element, align the middle of the filter element with the
raised position at the bottom of the filter bottle, and put the filter element in.

Keep the bottle body upright while aligning it with the lid, making sure the sealing ring is in the groove, and
then tighten the bottle body with a wrench.


Note:
PP cotton and RFC, DFX composite filter elements, FL0 activated carbon filter elements are the same
at the top and bottom, and there is no installation direction;

There are black pads at the top and bottom of the composite filter element and the activated carbon filter element.
Be careful not to drop the pads during installation;

CFB has an installation direction. If the TOP word is installed upside down, water will not flow out;
GAC also has an installation direction.

Many umbrellas are installed with the water inlet at the bottom.

If the sealing ring is deformed, soak it in warm water for a while, and it will naturally stretch out.

Tips for applying silicone grease on the seal ring after replacing the filter element:

Apply a layer of silicone grease evenly inside the groove of the filter bottle, then put the seal ring into the groove,
and apply a layer of silicone grease evenly on the seal ring, making sure that the seal ring is surrounded by silicone
grease, and the outer thread of the filter cartridge is also evenly coated with silicone grease. If there is no silicone grease,
you can go to the pharmacy to buy medical vase line instead of silicone grease.

Note:

* Only one seal ring can be used on one filter cartridge, and the seal ring cannot be wrapped with raw tape, otherwise it is more likely to leak.

* For safety reasons, it is recommended that the seal ring be replaced once a year.

* Silicone grease mainly acts as a lubricant, which is convenient for installation and disassembly.


If the seal ring is deformed, soak it in warm water for a while and it will naturally stretch out.

But you need to wipe off the moisture on the seal ring.

Replacement Steps: 1. Close the water inlet control valve in front of the filter bottle. 2. Open the nearest faucet behind the filter bottle, wait for the faucet to drain water until no water comes out, and release the residual pressure in the pipeline. 3. Press the red pressure relief valve for 3 seconds, and replace it after confirming that there is no water. 4. Put the wrench upwards, apply force in the direction of the red arrow, and unscrew the filter bottle. Note: The 20-inch filter bottle is heavy. When it is half loose, you need to drag the bottom and unscrew it slowly. 5. Take out the old wave core and clean the inner wall of the wave bottle. 6. Replace the new wave core, pay attention to whether the black sealing garden is in the top groove, tighten the filter bottle upright, and finally tighten it with a wrench. 7. Open the faucet at the back, open the water inlet to halfway, wait for water to come out of the faucet, and drain the water for 2 minutes. 8. After the water flow is normal, fully open the main water inlet valve and drain the water for 3-5 minutes to exhaust the air.

Note: After replacing some filter elements, there will be white bubbles in the water.

This is caused by air entering the filter bottle. You need to drain the water to remove the air.

Step 2: If there is a control valve installed at the water outlet of the filter bottle, just turn off the control valve
and proceed to step 3.
